New Orient CEO to guest at AGM
LOFT is pleased to announce that the new Leyton Orient Chief Executive, Danny Macklin, has accepted our invitation to appear for a Q&A session with members at the end of our forthcoming AGM.
Danny has taken up his position only in the past few weeks, at a time of great change at the club, so we look forward to hearing his plans on developing and improving the non-footballing side of Leyton Orient.
The meeting is on Monday 4 December at 7:30pm, and sees us return to the Leytonstone and District Ex-Servicemen's Club in Harvey Road, Leytonstone - the scene of the meeting in early March where members voted to set up the Leyton Orient Regeneration Fund.
The possible uses - or otherwise - of the fund will of course be the main item on the AGM agenda. As per the fund mandate, LOFT's board has been considering ahead of its AGM whether the fund is still needed, and we will set out the legal background and implications on fund use at the meeting.
As a democratic society, it will then be up to members to vote on what happens next.
We look forward to welcoming members longstanding and new to the meeting - doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, and the bar will be open! Anyone who isn't currently a member who wishes to attend can do so by joining in advance on our website or paying cash to join on the night - either way, membership still costs just £1 minimum.
