LOFT distributed some 1,250 leaflets before Saturday's game against Yeovil Town, to publicise Orient chairman Barry Hearn's plan to sell his own company the leasehold interests in the club's ground.

We would urge all supporters to join LOFT in its campaign to stop the ground sale until supporters have been properly consulted on the long-term implications, and shareholders have been given full information as to the potential future value of the ground.

LOFT is pursuing contact with various parties in order to do everything it can to get a resolution that is beneficial to the long-term future of Leyton Orient.

Meanwhile we would stress that any media speculation regarding the future ownership of the club should not detract from the fact that only one concrete proposal is in the open; namely to sell Brisbane Road without any indication as to our future beyond the short term.
